walk 14 Feb

 SUNDAY 14th                    (B+) The Comeraghs

This is called Cnoc an Aifreann (Mass rock / mountain) and is in the northern Comeraghs, very beautiful and spectacular. The walk is 5-6 hours so fit walkers only! We’ll start in the Coomshingaun car park and head north to Crotty’s Lake, discover Crotty’s cave, cross the gap and go up the cliffs to the summit. We then go around towards the Nire Valley and up onto the Comeragh plateau before coming down the southern arm of Coomshingaun – long but very enjoyable!

                            A 2010 "New Year" Club Dinner is being organised!

                            We need to know how many would like to go!
 
 
 
The date is Friday February 19th, the venue is Rochestown Park Hotel, cost per person is €20 (subsidised by the Club) for starter, buffet main course, desert & coffee. Cocktails & Drinks up to yourself!
We will have hopefully have some music, dancing, a sing song.....
 
We need to know approx numbers to decide room size for the hotel - so we would ask you to come back and let us know if you might be interested; if you could come back by wed 10th Feb that would be great.
